How YOURmeds Self-fill works.

You can set your medication schedule to fit around your daily life.
When it’s time to take your meds a number will appear on the screen. Like bingo you match the number on the screen to the number on the pack, open the seal completely and take the medicines inside.
50 minutes before the medication round end time your pack will start to beep every 10 minutes. A new supporter is informed through the YOURmeds supporter app to remind you to take your medicines.
The supporters can do an in app call and can see in real time on the app that you’ve accessed the right medication. They will also be alerted if you take the wrong one.

Personalised medication schedule tailored to your unique needs. You tell us when you want your medication to be taken and we'll set it out on our end.

Reminders

You get notified when it's time to take your medication and told which one to take. Helping you to take the right medication at the right time.

We want you to feel confident before committing. Try it for 14 days, if it’s not right for you, simply return the device and get £79 refunded. (We keep £20 as a handling/admin fee.) All we ask is that you return the device in good condition.

Answers to common questions.

How do I fill the medication trays?

Filling the packs is easy, load the tablets into the tray according to the schedule. Take the backing sheet off the back of the seal and apply over the top of the tray using the palm of your hand, sealing the medication in.

Why does YOURmeds have a fee?

It’s a smart medication management solution that gives you everything you need to make sure the right meds are taken at the right time. Increasing health outcomes and independence of the user and peace of mind for their loved ones. YOURmeds uses the latest technology and mobile communication to support you to take medicines correctly, we also pay the pharmacy to provide the service to fill the trays, that’s why there is a price difference if you self fill the trays yourself.

Do supporters have to have a subscription as well?

No, the fee includes the supporter app that allows you to have up to 5 supporters.

Do I need WiFi?

The Tag is the device with a screen you see attached to the top of the pack. This is where the alarm sound will come from, and number will appear on the screen. The tag uses mobile data, so does not need WiFi in order to work.

I don’t have any supporters can I still use YOURmeds?

We have teamed up with our trusted partners to provide a monitoring service for those who need it. This service will come at a small additional cost, to be paid monthly with your subscription. Please contact us for more details.

What medication can go in the medication tray?

The medication tray can currently only accommodate tablets, any liquids or creams will be provided outside of the pack for you to administer when required.

Can I take YOURmeds abroad?

Yes, however the electronic smart device is linked to UK time so it will alert at the same times you have set in the UK.

For example, if your smart device is set to alert at 9am UK time, and you travel to Spain which is 1 hour ahead, your smart device will alert you at 10am Spanish time, which is 9am UK time.

What happens if I want to cancel the service?

Notify us by emailing office@yourmeds.net as soon as possible. If you are on our Pharmacy-fill subscription the support team will contact your pharmacy and confirm when your next prescription date is (when you are next due medication from the pharmacy), so that you can return to your previous method of dispense on that date – we will inform you of when this is.
