Thank you for using YOURmeds. 

We hope you find YOURmeds helpful in taking your medication on time. 

It is important that you understand and agree to the following conditions, so please contact us if there is anything you don’t understand. 

To buy YOURmeds, you will need to be over 18 and capable of entering into a contract. 

Equipment provided 

YOURmeds will provide hardware and smart packaging for the duration of the contract that will contain your medication delivered directly from the pharmacy. We will also give your supporters access to the supporter App. You will also be able to access the Webapp where you can download data reports. Supporters are expected to provide their own compatible smartphone or tablet device, which is their own responsibility, and they are expected to cover any related costs (e.g. internet connection, data usage). 

An internet connection on your mobile device (via wifi or mobile data) is required to make full use of the supporter App. 

Warranty 

Should any malfunction of the product arise, you should in the first instance contact YOURmeds for advice. In the event that the problem cannot be resolved YOURmeds undertake to repair or replace (at option) the product providing that malfunction is reported within twelve (12) months from the day of purchase 

The warranty is valid from the day a product is purchased by the user. The separate parts inside the product can have different regulations regarding the warranty period and what is covered by the warranty. 

Damage not covered under the warranty 

  1. a) Normal wear and tear (batteries and screens)
  2. b) Damage from drops and/or from unsuitable use of the tags g. dropping, water damage, foreign objects

The original warranty does not apply if the device has been: 

  • Opened, modified or repaired by an unauthorised service centre 
  • Repaired with parts that are not YOURmeds original 
  • Exposed to moisture, extreme environmental and thermal conditions, erosion, oxidation or chemicals 
  • Removed or unreadable serial number 
  • Charged with, damaged from, or manipulated with software other than that which is YOURmeds approved. 
  • As with all electronic devices, do not leave in direct sunlight. Extremes of heat or cold may cause malfunction. 

Cancelling your YOURmeds Contract 

If your YOURmeds licence has been provided to you by a supporting organisation (such as a mental health or social care support service) please contact your supporting organisation for your specific Terms and Conditions. 

Cancel within 14 days 

If you have purchased YOURmeds direct, and you change your mind then you may cancel your order within 14 days of placing it and receive a full refund provided all equipment is returned back to the pharmacy or directly to YOURmeds Head Office. 

Cancel within 90 days 

If you wish to cancel within 90 days of the contract start date you need to pay an additional £98 and return all equipment back to the pharmacist in full working condition. 

Cancel after 90 days 

Your monthly subscription will be cancelled 30 days after you return the equipment back to the pharmacy. 

To cancel your YOURmeds Contract you must do so in writing and include the email address associated with your account, or your date of birth, to confirm your identity.  The request must be emailed to us at support@yourmeds.net. We will respond to you within 7 working days of receipt of your cancellation request. We will email and post 2 copies of the cancellation form that needs to be delivered with the tags and any other equipment back to the pharmacy. Please ensure the pharmacy retains and signs the acknowledgement of receipt on both forms. 

Terms and conditions agreement

By purchasing and using the YOURmeds system, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Termination of contract 

YOURmeds reserves the right to terminate the use of our system for any reason and at any time; for example, in response to inappropriate use of the service. 

Confidentiality and data 

Your privacy is of paramount importance to us and we take data protection very seriously. To that end, your data is owned by you and you can decide who to share access with. 

By registering for the YOURmeds service you consent to its use in provision of your YOURmeds system including sharing your information with your nominated pharmacy and any supporters that you may 
have nominated. Please refer to privacy-policy for more detail on how we process your personal data. 

All information entered onto this website will remain confidential and be used by YOURmeds and our business partners solely for support and administrative purposes within the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. We will not supply or grant access to third parties except in the rare event of immediate concern for welfare. The user retains responsibility for ensuring that their personal details are accurate and up to date. 

Your nominated pharmacy and supporters that you have specified will have access to your website, allowing them to look back at how you have taken your medication. YOURmeds staff may also contact you on occasion to conduct a review. Reviews help to ensure you are making the best use of your assistive technology to stay independent. The staff also have access to your usage data in order to ensure the quality of our service provision and may share this data in an anonymised state with any funding body upon request. 

We will be asking you to help us with the evaluation of your experience of using YOURmeds. This will be on a voluntary basis so you can choose not to take part if you wish. This will likely take the form of questionnaires. When collating and reporting on feedback, all data and views expressed will remain anonymous unless you have specifically agreed otherwise. Your email address, name, and general order information may be passed to online review website Trustpilot.com (https://uk.trustpilot.com/) for them to ask for your independent review of YOURmeds. 

Liability 

YOURmeds is designed to help you manage your medication, and to put you in control of your medication. We do not offer advice and cannot be held responsible if the product is used incorrectly. 

Complaints 

If you would like to make a complaint about YOURmeds or any of our associated services please contact us immediately you become aware of it on 02392 470001, or email us at [email protected] to speak to a member of the team. We will undertake to take your complaint seriously and provide the most appropriate response. 

Other considerations 

We hope that by using YOURmeds you will improve your medication adherence that will hopefully provide you with more independence. 

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice. At the top of this page, there is a notice to tell you when it was last updated.
